“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Jennifer DeWitt (Jones), MSW, LCSW

Jennifer has been working in the social service field for almost 20 years in a variety of settings, including in-home, community-based, private practice, and many Bucks County, Pennsylvania schools.

After earning her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Temple University, she completed advanced training under Dr. Judith Beck at the internationally recognized Beck Institute for Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Jennifer is also extensively trained in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder with Exposure & Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), and has completed advanced training workshops under Dr. Edna Foa at University of Pennsylvania’s Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety.

Although Jennifer has worked with clients suffering from a wide variety of issues, her area of expertise is in the treatment of General Anxiety, Panic, Specific Phobias, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

Jennifer’s approach to treatment has a basis in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy but integrates other therapies as needed to suit the needs of each client. Meditative and mindfulness-based practices are often a complement to treatment. Most importantly, she understands that each person who comes through the door deserves to have a non-judgmental, understanding, and caring environment, which fosters a strong therapeutic relationship.

She is an in-network provider with Aetna and United Healthcare/Optum and is currently only providing virtual therapy.
