Jennifer Jones, MSW, LCSW
Jennifer has been working in the social service field for about 10 years in a variety of settings, including in-home, community-based, private practice, and many Bucks County schools. After earning her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Temple University, she completed advanced training under Dr. Judith Beck at the internationally recognized Beck Institute for Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
In addition to private practice, Jennifer is working with Dr. Ronit Levy at The Bucks County Anxiety Center focusing on the treatment of Anxiety Disorders and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and she most recently trained under Dr. Edna Foa at University of Pennsylvania’s Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety.
Jennifer has worked with clients suffering from a wide variety of issues, including eating disorders, couples issues, depression, and selective mutism; however, she specializes in the treatment of general anxiety, panic, phobias, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). She also has extensive training and experience working with victims of trauma.
Jennifer’s approach to treatment has a basis in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy but integrates other therapies as needed to suit the needs of each client. Meditative and mindfulness-based practices are often a compliment to treatment. Most importantly, she understands that each person who comes through the door deserves to have a non-judgemental, understanding, and caring environment, which fosters a strong therapeutic relationship.
“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
